Great value on first order

This was my first time buying from Vale Pet Foods. I got the Puppy Starter Pack and the 10% off first order discount made it a really good deal. My new puppy loves the food and treats. It felt like a solid purchase for the price, definitely worth it for a new puppy owner trying to save a bit.

Reliable for raw food

I've been ordering Raw Chicken Mince from here for about a year now. This time was just as smooth as always. The packaging for the raw food is always secure, and it arrives frozen solid. It's consistent quality, which is why I keep coming back. Never had an issue with any of my orders so far, which is a big plus for raw diets.

Good food, delivery could be faster

I ordered the Lamb and Sweet Potato Kibble for my dog. The quality of the food seemed really good, and my dog took to it quickly. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was straightforward. My only minor gripe was the delivery time; it took 5 days to reach Denver, which felt a bit long. Overall, good value for the premium ingredients, but I hope they can speed up shipping a little.

Detailed experience with kibble and treats

I recently placed an order for their Salmon and Trout Kibble along with some Fish Skin Treats. The ordering process on their website was intuitive, and I received an order confirmation almost immediately. Shipping took around four business days, and everything arrived well-packaged without any damage. The kibble itself seems high quality; my picky eater finished her bowl with no issues. The fish skin treats are a definite hit, very crunchy and natural looking. I had a quick question about storage for the treats, and their customer service responded to my email within a few hours, which was helpful. No complaints about the product quality or the support received, everything met my expectations.

Happy with the treats

Got some Beef Jerky for Dogs and some Training Treats. My dog went crazy for them. Super easy to order, and they got here pretty fast. Good stuff.

What's their return policy like? Just wondering in case my super picky dog decides he hates it.

E Elizabeth 2 weeks ago
Yeah, returns were easy, did it last month when my dog turned his nose up at a new flavor. Just had to send an email.

I think as long as it's unopened and you contact them within a certain time, it's fine. Check their site, but it seemed pretty straightforward to me when I looked it up.

My dog has a really sensitive tummy, lots of issues with other brands. Anyone tried Vale's hypoallergenic stuff or the grain-free options and had good luck?

C Carol Davis 3 weeks ago
Oh for sure! My frenchie used to have constant itching and upset stomach. Switched him to their salmon and trout kibble (grain free) and he's been totally fine ever since. Huge difference.

My lab mix does well on their duck and potato kibble. No more digestive drama, which is a blessing. Give it a shot!

Thinking of getting some raw food for my pup. How do they handle shipping frozen stuff? Does it arrive thawed out?

S Sam Martinez 2 weeks ago
I've ordered raw mince from them a few times to Florida and it always arrives perfectly frozen, even in summer. Good insulation.

Yep, my raw order was still solid when it got here in Texas. They use dry ice, I think? Works well.

Hey, I'm thinking about trying Vale Pet Foods for my beagle. Does anyone know how long delivery usually takes to, say, California?

A Andrew Davis 2 weeks ago
I'm in Oregon and it took about 5 business days for my last order of kibble. Not sure if raw takes longer though.

Yeah, I'm on the East Coast and it was similar, like a week. They do a good job with packaging, especially for the raw stuff.

Can you stack discount codes at checkout? Like, if I have a first-time order code and maybe a newsletter one?

P Patricia Brown 1 month ago
Nah, usually just one code per order. Tried it before, didn't work for me.

AFAIK, they don't let you combine them. It's usually one or the other, especially if you're trying to use a bulk discount with a coupon.

Considering Vale vs. Butternut Box. Is Vale Pet Foods just as good for natural ingredients and overall quality?

M Michelle Phillips 1 month ago
I used to do Butternut Box but switched to Vale because it felt like better value for similar quality. My dog loves their raw range.

I've tried both, and honestly, Vale's ingredients list seemed a bit more transparent to me. Plus, the options for kibble and raw are really good. My dog prefers their lamb and sweet potato kibble to anything from Butternut.
